The University of Minnesota Nano Center (MNC) is a resource for researchers developing products based on nanotechnology, including small scale electronics, biomedical devices, and nanoparticle dispersions. Right now, you can begin using our labs and tools free of charge, through our Explore Nano program.
Explore Nano offers up to a $2000 subsidy to new industrial or external academic users of MNC facilities, as well as those who have not used the Center for the past two years. Once accepted into the program, users can apply the subsidy to cover lab access fees, equipment time, user training, and staff assistance.
Program participants must not have used MNC since October 1, 2020. Preference will be given to applicants with a viable interest in continued MNC usage beyond the program. The amount of funds available are limited, so plan to apply today!
To apply, go to cse.umn.edu/mnc/explore-nano-program.
If you’d like to discuss the program and your potential project, feel free to contact at mnc@umn.edu.
