UEL is proud to be associated with gener8tor a nationally ranked accelerator that invests in high-growth startups. In partnership with gener8tor’s gBETA program, which is a free, seven-week accelerator for early-stage companies, we expand our outreach and support startups in the Minneapolis–St. Paul area.
This summer UEL is one of several organizations participating in gBETA’s Midwest COVID-19 Innovation Showcase which will be held on July 16, 2020.
The Midwest COVID-19 Innovation Showcase is an opportunity for Midwest innovators to improve their stories by working with our team, highlight their COVID-19 innovations and connect with key stakeholders that can help accelerate the implementation of their products. Our goal is to create as much exposure and give as much support to a handful of organizations in a short amount of time.
The showcase will be an opportunity for innovators from across the region to improve their stories, highlight their Covid-19 innovations and connect with key stakeholders in the healthcare sector.
“In the past months, we have come across various researchers, startups, established businesses and nonprofit organizations that are working on Covid-19 solutions that range from ventilators to telemedicine,” gBETA Medtech Director Jackie Mejia said in a release.
Entrepreneurs that apply and are accepted will receive coaching to refine their pitch and help determine what they need to succeed and pitch their idea virtually in front of a large audience. They will also get advice from professionals in the field about advancing the product and bringing it to market.
Those interested in participating must apply by June 14. All entrepreneurs from the Midwest are encouraged to join.
If you are a Midwest startup, established company, non-profit organization or researcher (no legal entity) who is working on a novel COVID-19 solution, this is your chance to highlight your work and meet with key healthcare stakeholders.
