…the right place for early-stage bioscience companies

Wet lab space is at a premium in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area, and UEL is poised to continue to meet this demand. UEL’s expansion program will result in an additional 40,800 square feet of lab space in the UEL’s centrally located bioscience incubator. UEL is currently soliciting funding for the expansion.

UEL is a proven bioscience incubator that leverages both our community’s existing med tech knowledge base and the strengths of the University of Minnesota. UEL has provided premier space for dozens of life science startups since 2004. The expansion addresses the unmet need for additional wet lab space, and will accelerate UEL’s job creation model.

This project will initially generate more than 200 construction jobs and, in the long run, at least 125 bioscience jobs.
